Conservation Drive at “Oxygen Garden” with 500 Triveni Trees Concludes with Pledge for Environmental Protection

Sonepat: Today, 105 students and teachers of Sardar Patel Senior Secondary School, Sonepat, took a solemn pledge to protect the environment, sending a strong message of ecological awareness. The event was organized in the inspiring presence of **Shri Sumeet Alakh**, President of **Manav Sewa Trust**, and **Mr. Divyank Jain**, son of Sonepat Mayor **Shri Rajeev Jain**.

**Distinguished guests** included BK Sunita, state awardee Mr. Dilbagh Singh, Mr. Ramesh Madan, renowned wrestler Mr. Hawa Singh, Mr. Satish Kumar (LIC), Mr. Ranjan Sehgal, Ms. Divya, Mr. Vinay Dahiya, and environmentalist Mr. Manish “Tree” Ji.

On this occasion, a **clean-up and maintenance drive** was successfully conducted at the “Oxygen Garden” located in Village Fazilpur, Ward No. 6, where **500 Triveni trees** have been planted and are being preserved.

Additionally, **another 500 Triveni saplings** planted in the green belt at Sector 12, sponsored by **Shri Shashikant Kaushik Ji**, are being maintained by **Manish Tree Ji** and **Sewa Trust UK-India**.

**Shri Sumeet Alakh**, President of Manav Sewa Trust, addressed the gathering and said:

Tree plantation is not just about planting a sapling — it is a promise to offer clean air, a healthier environment, and a balanced ecosystem to future generations. As a tree grows, it provides not just shade, but life. Our mission is to inspire every citizen to plant and protect at least one tree in their lifetime. This is true human service.”*

Mr. Divyank Jain appreciated the efforts and shared his thoughts:

“Environmental protection is a civic responsibility. Programs like these raise awareness and motivate the younger generation to take meaningful action. More such initiatives must be encouraged to ensure a greener future.”*

**Environmentalist Mr. Manish Tree Ji** also emphasized the importance of consistent tree care and the need for similar community-based environmental campaigns.
